Began painting the supports for Commercial Street rail overpass - a few supports were removed for ease of painting. Once everything looks brand new I can start weathering and aging till I'm satisfied!
I believe it makes a huge difference when they're painted!!

Long time no see, I have been busy reworking my plan and creating a desirable track plan. So, it is now Port Dock station and goods yard - with a heavy focus on goods! I now have a trainorama 830 and I've sold any stock that wouldn't suit. I have a trainorama 930 with my name on it and I just need to make a final payment. My layout will feature an almost full length model of the Port Dock Goods Shed (17cm too short) and a relocated commercial street bridge (it is being used to cover up the end of the scene). I have developed my own layout for the engine shed and turntable and these have been placed based on the overall space remaining on the layout. - exciting days are indeed to come :D
 849 reverses towards its consist.
 coupled and ready to go!
849 heading through the smaller yard with a short oil consist from the docks.
Another angle showing the smaller yard and early development of commercial street bridge.
From the opposite end of the yard showing the scope of trackwork and the immense amount of work still needed.
the smaller yard, two center tracks can store about 4-5 wagons. The left most track is the 'to goods shed' track and the right most track is the 'to station' track.
Foam underlay placed below the track - I'm a fan of this foam stuff! Cheap and effective! Note the progress on the bridge!
